um, you don't want to try it at all. I heard that you had to manually do it by soldering and everything. Its not worth it because you could kill your card.

First, you've entered two DIFFERENT Model Numbers for your card. 8800 & 6800. When I did a search I only found a 6800 card.
In any case I never found any mods for the 6800XT, although I did find several for the 6800GT and 6800ULTRA.
Are you SURE you have your card's model number and suffix letters correct?
