Which team do you think would've had the skill and would've worked the hardest to win the Fifa World Cup of 2006?

Brazil, they are a great team with awesome players and deserve 6 wins not 5.

Australia.. And they would have beaten Italy too if Grosso didnt take the BIGGEST dive with only 10 seconds of regulation time remaining. Grosso "we were desperate to not let the game go into extra time, we needed to win in regulation time and we did what we had to do to win" The Italians were scared of the Australian football team, so they went to what they do best! Winning by technicality! If Italy had of scored a goal with 1 second remaining..well done! but they couldnt so they dived..They dont deserve to be world champions! The italians have no respect for football, you just have to look at whats currently going on with the Italian league!

As much as I hate to admit it, the Italians deserved the title. Their style isn't all that exciting, but they play a great defense and can turn up the offense when needed.
There's a lot of "could haves" in tournaments like this, but I believe that the best team always performs when needed. In this year's Cup, that was the Italians.

I'm probably going to get blasted for this, but I really really would have liked to see France win. It would have been such a great moment to see Zizou hold that cup aloft above his head. And then to see Henry and Ribéry... I would have liked to see England with it too. To see Becks and a healthy Micheal Owen and Wayne Rooney with it. Since the US will never win I have to pull for this guys.

Brazil!! because it is not fair they won 4 matches in a row and just lost 1, i find that really unfair!
