I'm one.
Regrettably, there aren't really any good Christain metal bands, Demon Hunter is OK, but musically their not the best. I mostly listen to folk metal, epic power metal and melodic metal. Most of the lyrics are pretty tame in the spiritual aspect of things (only exception is that folk metal often has a lot of stuff about Odin and Thor and things like that).

By the way, you'll probably want to avoid reading the lyrics to Marduk, Emperor and Mayhem. Those bands are the real black metal stuff, not at all Christain friendly, if you get my meaning. If I remember right, Emperor's bassist (or maybe it was another member) has been jailed repeatedly for arson. He likes burning churches.

No Metal is anti christian, anti life pro abortion, pro genocide. Stop looking for only "Christian" metal bands and you might actaully find something worth listening to.

I am Christian, and although I admit I havent been to church in a long time, I went almost every week for the first sixteen years of my life, and have ALWAYS listened to "Satanic" music such as Slipknot, Slayer, White Zombie and Marilyn Manson. As you put it, if you are strong enough to ignore the bad influences then you can listen to anything you want.

Try Marduk, Emperor and Mayhem. Really cool lyrics, make sure to read them.
