Yes you can! Dillards often has such dresses. As does Belk. They don't mind if you take one into the men's dressing room to try one on either. I often outfit transvestite models.

Have you tried catalogs that sell products for crossdressers? That might be a place to start. If you do a netsearch at google.com or any search engine for clothes+crossdresser you may find some good sites.
Also maybe try searching for buy+chiffon dress That might turn up some ideas. In google you can look at just the pictures if you click on images. Hope that helps.

Yes ,no problem, but stay away from crossdresser specialty shops online, as most of them will take advantage of you and overcharge you for the same item that you can find elsewhere. Depending on your size and build, go to a mall (away from where you live if you are nervous) and try any of the ladies speciality stores, I found that junior sizes fit me best, and have had great expieriences at Deb's and Kohls. If you are larger size, try Lane Bryant. All these stores seem to be very crossdresser friendly. Crossdressing seems to becoming a lot more popular, and widely accepted, and you are not alone. i would not choose for some thing too interest-drawing or wild like polka dots or something : P in all probability an trouble-free long black gown with a skirt that billows out slightly on the knee. in comparison to i'm a expert or something. in fact, you in all probability basically shouldn't pay attention to me. haha.
