I have lived in this neighborhood for over a year...and I have just started to get to know the neighbors more...before our kids just played together...well the past couple of neighborhood functions...I have been completely ignored by this woman and her husband. I am sure they talk about me behind my back..she won't even look at me or smile at me when walking by. But the thing is she is a loud mouth and is ALWAYS talking to someone in the neighborhood...just never me. I am really shy - and the other neighbors know this...as I am sure she does...but she even goes so far ast to try to STOP any conversation my husband is involved in with another neighbor of ours - she does this by continuously interrupting and asking questions of the other neighbor...when my husband tried to start a conversation with her she just blew him off. I don't know if it's because I am Korean?...or that she is 40 and I am 28...to me age doesn't matter...we both have children...I am sure I didn't do anything..

My mom always told me its because they are jealous, Maybe they are. Maybe she is just one of those outspoken (PTA MOMS) that has nothing better to do then spread gossip about people weather it true or not. It could have to do with something your kids done or didn't do. Sound like to me your neighbor is a rude person. You don't need to be her friend. If I were you every time you seen her I would pitcher in my mind something I enjoy very much have a little chuckle to my self and keep on going about my business. Don't let her intimidated you our your husband. If she continues to interrupt your husband while talking to the other neighbors maybe he should just say to her look I am talking here can you go away. What ever you do don't let her know she is getting to you because that is what she wants. Good Luck

Why would you want to have a conversation with this woman and her husband? From what you've said, she and her husband are rude. If I were you, I would just walk up to her and be straight forward and ask what she has against you. It will probably catch her off guard and she will have to think for a while.

tell her to shut the he11 up and to stop interrupting other people and if she has something to say to you say it in your face, and if she has a problem with that buzz off and stop being such a loud mouth toward everybody, and if she gets physical and physicaly hurts you punch her but only do that if she hits you FIRST!! if you have a good self-esteem don't hit her and if she physically hurts you callfor help and she will get in trouble!!

sweety, welcome to america!!! sorry. i hate to say it but there are just some people out there who are like that. all you can do is to live life and let it go. i don't mean run away when she's around, but pitty the fool for the way they are. their missing out on getting to know you, and its their loss. and most of all, forget the idea that you did something, or that its your fault. you have to eccept that some people are naturally ***'. let it drop and put your energy into friends that do make the effort.

It could very well be your race. Are you the only Korean couple on the block ? If so then it could be that.
