LOL to j smith! They do put the letter P in front of every thing they can the Pfurniture store is having a sale lol!
Anyway we have lived in Pflugerville for about 10 yrs and love it. It has grown so much since we moved here but is still has a small town atmosphere! As far as I know there are no ghetto areas and very little crime. I have never heard of a murder or rape in all the time I have lived here. The weather is hotter than hell as it will be in anypart of TX! We do have 2 public swimming pools (one is a pool with slides, my kids love it!) and most subdivisions here have a pool for the use of that particular community. We also have a lake but I haven't been yet it just opened this year. We have a couple of very nice parks and wonderful schools. At least the ones my kids go to. I have 1 in middle school, 1 in elementary and 1 in preschool. Where are you moving here from? I almost fell out of my chair when i turned on questions and saw pflugerville on there lol. Hope you like it here!

Pflugerville and Round Rock are two cities that are 'glued' together. You really can't tell which is which. I live in New Braunfels which is about 40 miles south of Pflugerville. Where I live it's more unique in my opinion. But that's not what you asked. So up north where you're talking about is nice but congested. The areas are growing so much that the freeways and streets can't keep up. Consequently there is a lot of traffic. But you should be used to that living in California!
Good luck with your move!! And welcome to Texas!!

You'll like Pflugerville. I visit there when I can, just for the CFS at the Spring Hill Cafe.

Pflugerville. Really? You're kidding me. Honestly? Okay how 'bout this one, I'm not sure of the spelling, but I know it is or was out there; Wactahatchee, Texas.

Okay how 'bout this; Caribbean ( Phonetic ) Gwahatakis, Puerto Rico.

Wheeewwww!!!!!!
