Depends on how much water. If you submerge it in a tub of water, then its possible it might break.
If you just spilled water on it, then just lay your keyboard upside down for a day and it will dry out. I dont think a spill would destroy your keyboard.

There's a slight chance you could be electrocuted, I suppose, but it will definitely ruin your keyboard
