Most people do need at least eight hours of sleep. You need to find the source of your stress and resolve whatever is causing it. You're off to a good start because working out is a great way to relieve stress. With that said remember to alternate the muscle groups of your body when working with weights. Upper body one day and lower body the next etc. Your muscles need to rest to repair themselves and grow or become lean.
