Say you've been with this guy for two years, you have a kid with him, he has previously cheated on you, and he just broke up with you. OK now you're getting drunk with his best friend talking about it, and yall wind up getting in on. You and your dude work things out and get back together, mostly for the good of the kid, and you and his friend decide what he don't know won't hurt him, right? Nine months later, you have a kid, not knowing which of them is the father. Your dude has no idea it might not be his, but yall give it up for adoption because you are too young for this s*** and can't take care of it. Now, two years later these people decide to send you a picture and he looks just like your dude's best friend. Oh yeah, the friend didn't even know you were pregnant, because he moved not long after this all happened. Would you tell your man? Would you tell the friend? Or should you just keep it to yourself?

Is the resemblance really obvious? I mean, if the kids look just like my best friend, I would recognize it, then there's no mean of hiding it from him. But if it's not, then hear-hear to the option "what they don't know won't hurt them."

Nothing is hidden under the sun.Tell your man, if he loves you he will understand and you can confirm with a DNA test.If it belongs to the other dude you need to let him know. He has a right to know and the child has a right to know his father. Do it and you will find real peace within you.
