I know his latest speaking tour to canned audiences is called "Operation Lotioned Fist", but to avoid hostle crowds after he leaves office, will he continue to hide?

Oh my, of course yes!

Now don't let all those tears get your beer all salty tasting, wondering how 'ol george will fill his days once he's safely out of the way of harming us any further. There will hopefully be many speeches to be given for all the "canned" republicans after 2008.

I personally hope to cash in on printing the t-shirts for the "It's all Clinton's Fault" and God bless America tour...that is if the Chinese don't beat me to it...

Of course not. Jimmy Carter was an unpopular president upon leaving office but history has been most kind to him. I think GW, should he desire a public speaking engagement (although I hope not since he is not a great public speaker), he will always be able to find a sympathetic audience simply because he is a former president. Besides, why would he, in private life intentionally seek an unfriendly audience?

I agree. He is the most popular prez and though many may not agree with what he is doing he is doing way better than any other could do in his position. When his term is up he still wont have to worry about anything cause he will still be considered a president so therefore secret service will still be protecting him.

Nixon was more popular at his lowest than Bush is now, of course he'll have to talk to canned audiences for the rest of his days!
If you can't see that then your vision must be obscured by the same thing that obscures Bush's vision, his rectum.
I do hope that GWB gets what he wants, to be forever remembered, impeachment will give him that.

He'll probably hit the bottle again and wind up giving speeches to other winos behind some dumpster in Texas.

If his listeners are drinking 24 oz Colt .45's, yeah they will be canned audiences...
