It's probably ingrown hairs. You can exfoliate before you shave or the next day, but not right after you shave. You can use a scrub or a loofah or something like that. There are some bump-fighting creams and gels and stuff that claim to work, but I've never used them. Use a sharp razor and don't make lots of passes over the same spot. I like shaving oils or gels better than shaving cream--you might want to try a different product to shave with. Or you could try depilatories, which used to be super-nasty but now they all claim they smell like raspberries and clouds and marshmallow dreams...I don't know if I buy that. I don't buy them, so I guess I don't. But you could try it, I suppose.

Change your razor more frequently. An old razor can cause lots of little nicks (that look like little pink dots). Also, invest in a shaving cream or gel that has aloe or other soothers in it and slather it on before shaving. Then use a good moisturizing lotion after you are finished shaving and then again a couple hours later. It helps to keep your legs from itching so you don't scratch.

Are you using a shaving product before shaving with the blade? You might try a conditioner on your legs to shave with-it makes a close shave, but you need to clean your razor after with hot water because it gunks up pretty good. You also might want to wait a bit before putting lotion on, just because it sounds like your legs are a bit irritated.

Try shaving with conditioner! Sounds strange, but the moisturizers in it that are for your hair are very good for your skin too! it won't lather much obviously, but it makes your wet skin very slippery, and the less friction, the less bumps. Also, it sounds like you may just need a new razor blade. They need to be replaced more often than you might think, and I know they are so expensive you want to get every last shave out of them that you can. (I know I do!!!) :) But trust me, the silky smooth skin will be more than worth the price! :) Good luck, and happy shaving. hahaha

stop shaving your legs for a bit. It's probably irritated cuz you use cheap razors, or because your skin is just sensitive. Stop shaving and use lots of lotion after you take a shower, at least for a week so wear long jeans meanwhile and let it calm down. Switch the tipe of razors you use or you can try using hair removing lotion.

Use veet. Or just make sure you lather well. Don't hold your razer close to the blade, you bear down way to much when you do that. Don't go over the same place repeatedly. Get the womens after shave, There are several womens shaving cream brands that also have women's after shave.

Ohhh. Its perfectly normal!! Its just a result of shaving roughly in a place.. It means you scraped the surface causing the dots to appear.. They more form in a scab thing, buts its just like a cut.. Its kinda like an irritation..
Make sure your using a good shaving cream/gel and it will happen less ofter.. Skintimate shaving gel works GREAT!

Don't worry about it!! ITs NORMAL!! LOL =]

It will go away soon!!

I have the same thing. I think it might be irritation. I put on a good lotion on my legs after shaving. Sometimes it helps. It also could mean just where the root is.

Prolly just razor burn. Instead of using shaving cream or gel, I use baby oil or moisturizing body wash. It puts more of a protectant over your skin. If they are still there it sounds funny but Bikini Zone works well.
