Mostly temp jobs, which usually mean fast food. Check the malls around you - the carts are good places to look, also lots of stores hire at age 16. Some, however, hire only at age 18, so be sure to ask for the age requirement first.

Try resturaunts - you can be a host/hostess at age 15 or 16.

Try buger king I think they start that young it mid wage but better hen nothing or also Dairy Queen does also.. You not going to get anything more then midwage with not other job experience and with being so young try typing up a résumé you can use stuff related to school to put on it or voulnteer work make you look more resbonaible and someone more willing to hire you.. Could also try a local family own type business even if it one or two days a week it gets your foot in the door.. Also remember to call back a few days later and to talk to the manger and check on your application show your really want the job and have determination

Just about any retail store will hire a 17-year-old. Also, a lot of restaurants (not fast-food) will hire teens, and they usually pay pretty well.

Why do you think you are above having a job where you work hard? You sound a little lazy and that is not a quality I look for when hiring people.

Grocery stores will hire you for bagging groceries. It can be a good 1st job, with lots of room to move to accomcdate school schedules, and what-not.

Tons of jobs...my 17 year old walked in and got a 10.00/hr job in the tech department at one of those chain electronics / computer stores...his first "real" job...

My first real job was in a Bookstore (Barnes & Noble).
You can also apply to Starbucks and retail stores.
There are several places to apply, so start filling out applicatons!!
You never know until you try.
