Shiloh, I'm afraid you gotta be more thick-skinned here. You make the "trolls" (as they are called) day when you get upset. That is precisely what they want to do. They have no other purpose for browsing through the questions than to try to upset someone. They certainly don't care about any serious discussion of the issues, just making trouble. It's sick, I know, but on the bright side maybe by venting on this forum, it keeps them off the street and doing something really harmful. I try to look at it that way.
BTW, I like GW, too. I agree with his foreign policies, but not all of his domestic ones. But even when I don't agree with him, I believe him to be a good person, and like him as an individual.

You say you're 14, then you have to understand that there are a lot of adults on here who know a lot about politics. Just because a political figure came around and shook your dad's hand after a tornado doesn't make him a great President or even a good guy. That's nice and everything, but there's a lot more involved than that. I respect others' opinions when they have reasonable arguments, whether I agree with them or not. But politics is a rough forum. If you want people to be nice to you, you may want to stick to Entertainment sections.

That's the beauty of America. You can be as mean as you like as long as you don't violate any laws.
But just because it's legal doesn't mean people won't hate you for it.
By the way, George Bush does cocaine and kills kids by throwing them out of helicopters.
True story, read the biggest secret by David Icke. :P
Also, there are people who are on yahoo simply to test their ability to anger and or make people sad. It's a sad fact of the Internet.
Congratulations on uhhh turning 14.

There's a saying, "If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen." One thing you have to realize is you're going to run into jerks everywhere. You take a risk when you ask/answer a question that the jerks will attack. The only way to avoid it is to not be involved here. Otherwise, just ignore the the jerks. Don't let them get you down.

Take it as a life lesson. I am not particular happy with the President but I am not going to belittle someone else for liking him. Maybe now you can see why people hate politics, people don't know how to be civil to one another if they disagree on something. Do not shrink from what you believe in, if you feel you are right, then voice your opinion, just don't expect people to be civil to you if they do not care for what you believe in. Remember only your feelings got hurt, it can be a lot worse out there.

Good for you girl, I like Bush too. At least he has some morals unlike Clinton and Hillery. Everyone has the right to their own opinion, that's why we are called the Land of the Free. Stick up for what you believe!

in defense, G. Bush has done some things that a lot of Americans dont agree with. however I whole heartedly agree with invading afganistan to capture bin laden. I also think that increasing the security on the boarder is a good idea. and if this young lady wants to support her president even in the face of everyone else scrutinizing her for it then more power to her. opinions are like butt holes every one has one, and every one thinks that every one elses stinks.

Honey, you are only 14. You could not possibly understand what kind of turmoil the country is in. I didn't understand it until recently and I'm 23. Maybe you should stop listening to who your parents like and forget politics until you're old enough to understand them. Try 18 at the earliest.

Why do you care about what everyone says? I'm a tomboy and I don't wear dresses and skirts if I do.. I'm wearing some jeans under it.. And my family is getting mad, trying to get me wear some skirts or dresses.. But I won't! I mean it is your opinion. If you love George Bush, you love George Bush and what he is doing for the U.S.. I mean I don't like Chris Brown and I KNOW he can't sing.. Actually, that's a fact.. Anyway, don't listen to what everyone says, it's your opinion! They got theirs and you got yours!

You must be a child with no concept of the real world if you love G. bush. Any adult with a grasp of what is right in the world understands that he is a war monger.
