Those that hate Canadians are ingnorant, besides thier is no reason for Americans to hate Canadians. Canadians are friendly, they dont initiate wars, and we support the Americans. Those that hate Canadians are probably not too smart, and do not know thier facts.

theres always a small group of ignorant people who make the country they live in look bad. for example I am Canadians I have travelled to florida many times and found them to be so friendly and cheerful. I have been to Michigan and they were friendly as well. my cousins visit Las Vegas many times and always a pleasant greeting but not being stereotypical here but the south for example Mississippi has had a bad reputation even within their own country. im sure there are nice mississsipians but from my experience meeting many online is the confederate flag is looked up on and the American flag was always frowned on.example easy rider 1969 the south didn't like the fact outsiders were coming into their town. outsiders with a USA flag on their bikes. There are many ignorant people from the south meaning Mississippi and surrounding areas who instill hate and violence even today. The Blacks couldn't even use the same water fountain or washroom as the white folks. They hated all the other states within the USA that represented the American flag. They had the KKK.White supremacy groups. high amounts of ignorance. Many blacks were treated like crap. not just blacks but Gays,Lesbians,people of a different culture were looked down at. In my words the Twilight Zone if the USA.And its people I met online on chat groups that are living in these areas are the most judgemental towards Canadians, towards black people. These are the ignorant people that gives the Americans a bad reputation. there will always be ignorant people in every country who seem to always have the right answers. right perfect assholes

No americans I know hate Canadians. I live in a cool place, but I don't think it's a common sentiment anywhere. Canadians have a pretty good rap world-wide as far as I know. I have had a great time in your country, and look forward to going back.

Who ever said that Americans hate Canadians.
Certainly, Canada has it's troubles, but we are not thinking of building a 20 foot high wall with barbed wire or anything. We would just like to have a bit more control on the Immigration and terrorist issue at the borders.
Hundreds and thousands of retired Canadians spend Winter down here. We welcome them to spend and enjoy the cold months down here.

I don't hate Canadians. I just played in a softball tournament with them for the Navy and their a great bunch of guys.

I don't think that's the case at all. Most of the Americans I've travelled with have been ok in their interactions with me. Of course there's always going to be an exception, like Jzwigger. But dealing with that is as simple as clicking on "report abuse", which I just did to him.

I haven't heard much about Americans hating Canadians. I think Americans envy Canadians their better economy and better standard of living, far less poverty, and violence and their free health care. Canadians are a much more relaxed nation with non-hypocritical views on gay marriage etc. and are admired worldwide.

I am Canadian and this is the first time I have ever heard this kind of thing.I live in windsor ontario canada. We share a border with our neighbours in detroit michigan. My mother was only one of eight children born in windsor, the other seven were all born up in northern michigan.So most of my family are americans. Hate us? Please don't use that word so loosley.There is far too much of that in other parts of the world.

I do not hate Canadians...I have worked side by side with them for years. Being from Oregon,I probably have more in common with the ones from B.C. than with people from many States in the US
