well, in italian, chiaro means "light" or "pale", so I'm guessing its a light color, if that helps at all.

In Italian it is blue, French a dark green, and in English it is a Walnut color.

looked it up on the net and found a website that said:
BROWN: In Japanese,

1. the word brown actually means “tea color” (chairo)
