Maus means mouse in German. (They are pronounced the same way) It is also a book about the Holocaust in which the Jews are portrayed as mice, and the Nazis are cats. I enjoyed the book a lot. The pictures were well done, and the characters were easy to follow.

"Mouse" (English) is how you pronounce it. You will see as you look through the book that the Nazis are cats and the Jews are mice.
