women always say they want a man that is nice and a gentalmen that treats them good. But when that guy comes along it seems he will always get passed on. I would much prefer to be romantic but unfortunatly most of the women i have encountered in my life have forced me into being more of a player and it seems that it works better for me. Why do women dis the good guys and then wonder why most guys are assholes.

It depends on the type of girls you hang around. If you hang out with girls that are players they're prob gna want a guy who's a player too. I personaly like gentlemen, I think all the girls you would bring home to mama will agree... Me and all the girls I know don't diss the good guy, but we don't want a weakling either. There's a fine line...

That is a very good question. I would much rather have a gentleman that will hold the doors open for me, compliment me even when I don't look good and other romantic things. I have friends who have left their boyfriends for the jerks and they wonder why they aren't treated the same way. The Jerks only want onething and after they get they move on to greener pastures. I'm very lucky that my husband is a gentleman through and through. My motto is: You will kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince or princess! Keep looking, Ms. Right is waiting for you!

I have always gone for a true romantic and a gentleman and a man that is a man, not a jerk and not an acting out boy.. Girls/women that are attracted to the bad boys who treat them like crap have no self esteem or self worth and are pretty immature. Just wait for the right woman who appreachiates you. They are out there believe me and do you really want the other type of girl? Not great mother or wife material really..

I can't answer for all women, but for me I do want a man that shows me respect and is a "good" man. But, sometimes, men can be a little overwelming in their affection and in being attentive. Constantly calling-always under your feet-and invading your "comfort zone". Almost, sufficating sometimes. Maybe thats it?
All I know is that a woman shouldn't want a player or someone who treats them like crap-unless somewhere in the back of their mind, they think that is how it's supposed to be.

Women seek out the BAD BOYS for mating. Agressive, powerful genes. Women seek out WIMPS for raising these kids. Good provider, non agressive.
Its a simple reason why so many men are rasing and paying for other mens kids. And its a reason so many women are unfaithful.

Women don't enjoy being mistreated, but I think they like the mythical idea of being the one person who can tame the wild beast into submission. Of course, this almost never happens, and the women end up being miserable.
As most women mature, they learn their life's lesson and go for the "nice" guy.

I think it is awesome that you are one of the good guys.
You just might be looking in the wrong places. There are millions of women just waiting to find a normal, decent, nice guy to appreciate them.
Instead of trying to find a nice woman to date in a bar...try the public library, bookstores, museums, art shops, church social clubs or Sierra or hiking clubs.
I wish you luck on your quest. I'm happily in love with a nice guy that I met in a medical school library.

It is, a lot of the time, to do with the chase. It isn't always that they like being treated like poo, they like the chase. When that is over and they have everything they wanted, there isn't a chase, and they miss it. Wierd, I know.

mostly the wild chicks are like that...i have friends that say all that bull crap, about how they like romantic guys, and when a hot bad guy comes along, they forget about romace...it all depends on the girl, if she says it, she should mean it truthfully, if she just say it and NOT mean it, she's a bi**h...good luck!
