In today's world it would have to be beauty because no one listens anymore and everyone is in rabid pursuit of beauty

With "mortals" or people, beauty fades... the spoken word has the potential of achieving an 'immortality' of sorts. The 'truth' is inherently "beautiful" because it will set you free! Moreover, beauty is an attribute that does indeed remain "in the eye of the beholder." We see beauty relative to what we value in life. Life is so arbitrary in what happens, that this may change many times in one's life: and Values + Sensibility = Perceived Truth
My guess is that the spoken word therefore, if laced with truth and not misleading via half-truths, is the most powerful.
They speak of beauty of being "timeless," and one can only wonder if that is in fact the case.

where were you when Eve explained this:

1. Beauty first
2. The spoken words after about two weeks, give or take.

Both. It depends on what your drives are. That is a very ambiguios question that portraits the esesnce of every irrefutable theory. Don't break your head over it. Which one do you prefer. And understand why other people choose the other one.
