i switched out the 305 for a crate 350 and dont know where it goes

You have two different answers, and depending on the year of the 350 block, they could both be right. Older 350 blocks, especially truck blocks, had the oil pressure switch mounted near the oil filter on the mounting plate for the filter. This read oil pressure coming directly out of the filter. Later models moved it to the back of the intake manifold on the drivers side next to the distributor, this reads oil pressure from the passage that feeds the rear of the camshaft.

At the back of the manifold 3" passed the distributor on the top
righthand side on the engine block if you are standing in front of
the rad

its all according what year but it is in the same place as the 350 right behind the intake on the back of the block

looking at the motor from the front, it should be at the rear of the motor just behind the intake manifold next to the distributor. you may have to get an adapter because its supposed to screw into the block.

it should be near the oil filter mounting area.
