It wasn't a sack idiot. It was after the play and he wrapped his arm around his leg. Yes it was a dirty play. P.O.S. Pittsburgh Steelers have to take cheap shots to win. If Carson didn't get hurt, I think the bengals would've won. They were outplaying the thugs from Pittsburgh.

No, Van Offen was PUSHED. That was an unfortunate hit BUT there was no intent. Even Carson Palmer said it wasn't intentional. Add to it when they were talking about the new rules with hitting a QB they said that this wouldn't have been a penalty. Yeah the crybaby Bengals fans will keep inisiting it was as will the Steeler haters. If you look over the facts though you will see that it wasn't dirty. Although good luck seeing the ENTIRE replay.
Oh and as good as Cincy played in the rest of the first half I don't think they would have won WITH Palmer. The Steelers made the adjustments at the half. As I said this PROVES what crybabys those Bengals fans are. Besides the Steelers wouldn't have wanted a QB in that has always done good against them.

As a Steelers fan, I'm obligated to hate the Bengals. However, I will admit that Carson Palmer is a fine QB and it was unfortunate for him that he got hurt. However, I do not feel it was a cheap shot. A lot of players and fans consider Kimo VonOelhaffen to be one of the classiest players in the League. He would never intentionally do anything to ruin another players career. It was just an unfortunate, freak accident that's, sadly, just a part of the game.

Of course not. Conspiracy theorists are dopes. It's plain to see on the tape that Kimo von Whatshisname got shoved toward Palmer by a Bengals offensive lineman, lost his balance, and was sent helplessly into Palmer's knee. If the o-linemen hadn't shoved Kimo, Palmer would have been fine to finish that game... and still lose it.

I don't think it was a dirty play. It's an unfortunate part of the game of football. Sometimes players get hurt, and I don't think anybody was trying to cheapshot Carson at all.

no hits are part of the game. it was not a sack for those who say it was because palmer hit a receiver. considering that there was no flag on the play, it was not a dirty play.

Just wait until this year cause Carson is back and will be better than ever. The superbowl this year will come through cinci. Kemo Van Olhoffen admits it was a cheap shot and he was the one that did it.

I am a Bengals fan, and it crushed me to see Carson go down, but after seeing replay after replay after replay, it never looked like a dirty play, just one great huge unfortunate accident. And it SUCKED. A LOT.

Jeff k and go bucks are confused. He never said he took a cheap shot. Also, the STEELERS can't play dirty because the Rooneys won't allow that kind of play. I can't believe people still think he did that on purpose.

It only looks dirty when they keep showing it slow motion and it seems the defender has all day to stop, which isn't the case when they show the replay in real time.
