I'm not jealous of Canadians. I used to live in the Detroit suburbs, and we were 45 minutes away from Canada. Used to go there all the time...camping, long drives, etc. It's a totally different world right across the Detroit river. All the Canadians I've met have been incredibly friendly, the country (parts that I've seen, anyway) are meticulously clean, everyone smiles and speaks, etc. The only problem is, all these "nice" Canadians I've met (waitresses, shop keepers, cashiers, toll booth operators, tour guides, etc.) are all a bit dense... Maybe that's why they're nice...because it's hard to be mean when you're mentally disabled? Are all Canadians mentally handicapped?

Tell me again I was raised wrong, *****. :)

Honey, most Americans don't give Canada a second thought and could care less about Canadians or what the heck they're doing much less be jealous of them. Most couldn't name your Prime Minister if you tortured them and threatened them with death.

With that said I liked Canada when I visited. I went to Vancouver and I've also been to Ontario. The money exchange at that time was pretty good and also your cities are quite clean. I wouldn't say I'm jealous but I do wish people in the US learned something from Canadians when it comes to not littering.

I am a Canadian that grew up in the USA from the time I was two years old. The two years I had in Canada must have stuck because here in Calif I am known as an outstanding nice guy whereas if I lived in Canada now I would just be yet another Canadian! Now what does that tell you?
I am also one of the very few Vietnam vets that is a Canadian.

Funny, 25 years that I've been living in the US, and critcal of many US ways, I have never heard anyone express any envy of anything Canadian. On the whole, I think Americans are either indifferent or somewhat affectionate towards Canada. You're one of those delusional people who thinks others are jealous of them, no matter who you are or who they are. It's even worse than Americans who think that foreigners who criticize them are necessarily jealous. Nobody even bothers with criticizing Canada...

Canada is attached to the USA like a leech, and serves the same function.

I'm jealous of your socialized medicine! I was raised in Canada, so I was raised right.

LOL - whatever helps you sleep at night.
If it weren't for us, Canada would have been conquered by the French long ago. Oh I forgot, you were.
