Depends on if you get a gas allowance or not, and if you work by the hour or by the delivery. The average, however is $10-$12 an hour.
Be careful who you decide to work for...you need to make sure that your potential income covers your vehicle expenses.

For workers who give food to customers and receive tips, taxes are based on reported or allocated total income, including tips. For example, if the allocated or reported tips are $2.75 per hour, then you have a total of $8 per hour of taxable income, which comes to approximately $500 for the week, so the tax is reasonable. You get the tips plus the check. Ideally, someone would find a way to withhold taxes from tips, but this does not work logistically, so they have to withhold the tax on the tips from the paycheck.

Use to work for Pizza Hut. They paid minimum wage plus tips. Just remember you have to claim the tips that you make, so you'll get taxed on it. Plus side, you get to take money home with you every day. Down side, wear on your car. If its just for the summer or for a few months then do it, just dont think long term with it. Also, you do have to do other duties when its slow, i.e. cleaning dishes and sometimes making pizza. Good Luck!

It depends on what company they work for and whether or not it is corporate or franchised. It also depends on the neighborhood they are delivering to. For Pizza Hut...they recieve below minimun wage and rely on the tips that they recieve. The average income including tips can be very rewarding and they could be not worthwhile.

I averaged around $7 to $11 an hour, it depends on how busy it is and whether people are kind enough to tip. but also think about gas, brakes, tires and other general wear and tear on your car, be prepared to spend lots of time finding houses, too.

I did that for awhile and I could make about $12 to $15 an hour but they only gave me $5 a hour under the table.

Their life. Some get shot at and stuff. Just for free pizza and junk. I think you'd rather flip burgers at Mikky Dee's.
