yes you can. my brother can sleep with his eyes parcially open. i find it a little weird because like if he is sleepingwhere you can see his eyes you start to think that he is awake when he isn't

I think that's just the way it works, though I have an eye problem that leaves my left eye partially open when I sleep. The first time it happened when I was a child it scared the hell out of my mother - she thought I was dead for a second.

may be some people sleep with open eyes but its not common and i think 99.9 % close their eyes while sleeping...i think the answer is- we sleep becoz our body need rest and as a part of our body eyes also need rest...thats y after working for long time or after studying we may not sleep but close our eyes for few moments...becoz it gives a feeling of relaxation...

We can, but I have no idea how. Whenever I get tired enough my eyes just close by themselves, sometimes without me even knowing it!

becauce sleep in induced if we r not disturbed .n to close our eyes from all worldly attractions.sleep will definately come
