Italy is the official 2006 world cup champions. End of story.
We lost in 94 to Brazil in penalty kicks and that was too bad for us. So this time around I'll say thank you very much. Italy is the ONLY team to go undefeated for the ENTIRE world cup including qualifying matches. Also NO TEAM scored on Italy with a regular goal for the ENTIRE world cup finals. Finally...it makes no difference what was said to Zidane because HE lost HIS cool and a seasoned sports superstar would know better. Imagine that Wayne Gretzkey would go smashing someone in the mouth in a cup finals game over a comment. haha it's laughable. Viva Italia

Of course Italy are the world champions. But they played like women. And they were defencive and boring to watch.
Any team can win the world cup, but only a fair, honest, courageous and daring team can win the world cup AND world admiration...

For the sake of your enthusiasm in supporting the team I'll pray you are right but I still say you can not read FIFA's mind or know what they may or may not do as a result of the investigation of the event. I would hate to see Buffon and Carnnavaro punished harshly for the likes of Materazzi.
