If some races are more intelligent than others, should education be modified accordingly?

More and more studies show that humans vary in their intelligence according to racial lines. Basically, median IQs are as follows:

Wouldn't it be better to provide training to people according to their race? Thus Blacks and Natives could be trained for simple manual labour or to be soldiers, Hispanics and Mulattoes be channeled into semi-technical work and East Asians, Whites and Jews given charge of the sciences and engineering?

You must look at the social backgrounds of those people. I think that has more of a influence then actual race of the people. Your idea of separation of race would be easily diluted if you'd take a introduction to sociology class at a college or university.

However, even if you did separate the education of people through race, not everyone would fit the average IQ of their assigned class. In a well run merit-based system, the people would be trained on their capabilities. That way those full-blooded Africans, who statistically should not be very smart, but are smart despite that, can prosper and obtain their ideal life and are only limited by themselves. On the other hand, a Ashkenazi Jew should not be forced to become a engineer if he does not have the mental capabilities to such work.

Those averages are infact averages, and those who do not fit the average of their race should not be rewarded or disadvantaged if they do not deserve that type of treatment.

Interesting question, the problem I feel is in the testing.
If the main IQ test was written by an Aboriginal person, most of the people with 139 IQ like myself would fail.
The ability to teach in our society has become more of a problem then how high the teachers IQ is. When Teachers/Professors coined the phrase "Learning disabled" they never thought of the fact that it was not the student but the teacher who had the disability, as most of the students had already learned a multitude of things.
I believe that some of a persons abilities or inabilities, such as spatial relationship, tone deafness, and grasping concept's are genetic, however I also believe that with a proper teacher/mentor almost anyone regardless of race or color can be educated in almost any area regardless of their IQ.
Most of the Inventions that serve us today were not invented by Educated People, education many times stifles a persons ability to think for them-self. Just remember, it was the educated intellectuals who forced and promoted the idea that the earth was flat for centuries, even when it's circumference had been calculated over 300 years earlier to within 200 miles of it's actual dimension.
IQ is irrelevant, EQ (emotional quotient) is more important.

I think this study is garbage. Those IQ tests you are speaking of are biased. Of course all the caucasions and asians score higher because more often then not they go to better schools and have a better education at there grasps.

Also your recommendations to educate "blacks and natives" for manual labor are the most nausiating thing I have ever heard. If any of you reading this bull*** think that racism isn't a problem anymore just listen to what this ignorant fool is trying to promote.

To give an answer based on my opinion, i would have to give you an opinionated lesson in history based on your question.
Knowledge exposure over a time period, say five thousand years, for a race is a factor that needs to be considered. The effect of an ancestor having knowledge and passing it on to his offspring; who then passes that knowledge on to theirs etc., with the prestige knowledgeable people are given from the community, along with the economic and political offerings that knowledge provides; tends to benefit the family not only with the obvious and aforementioned benefits, but with proper nutritious diets, breeding and further exposure to knowledge! As long as a sense of adventure is used.
I shall explain the nutrition factor further... proper diets maintain and better a person's body (which includes the brain).
Now, when the family is raised that way, a certain frame of mind is set. not in the way of replicating programs as is, but a trace (big or small) of an age old thinking pattern would have been obvious if it had been recorded over a length of time with the knowledge of how to go about doing it, had it been "recorded" or had been known how to.
Coming back to your question. If we did use your gattaca-like-technocracy, and educate as per racial-***-IQ category, everybody would have to be mentally profiled in-depth to avoid injustice through negligence! And that would be a high cost (not to mention violating) endeavour that would eventually cause the system to crash due to infeasibility...somehow. If not, expect a revolution because people will wise up to the time-edu-munchie-factor in due course. Unless info-edu-censorship is invisioned in this mental elitist society, because then there would be xenophobia. And we know where that leads.

All these figures do not measure how intelligent a person is. IQ is basically how much the person know not understands or how much they can read and write. IF you teach a person something they have a better chance of understanding it versus never teaching them and then saying they are idiots. Education should be determined by race but by intelligence. Many black people are more intelligent than many jews. The vice versa is also true as your figures say.

Tell that to Neslon Mandela or Doctor Martin Luther King. A big part of intelligence is experience. The more you are exposed to through your life the more you are capable of adapting to new situation, analyzing previous ones and synthetizing existing kwnoledge.

If anything, IQ is related to poverty and lack of possibilities. In your opinion, who's gonna be smarter : a upper class westner who has traveled the world for the past 20 years gathering kwnoledge or a villager somewhere in subsaharan africa who has never left his home village?

I think those test were correct but on how many people??...I can assure you that they haven't tested everyone in the U.S. not couting all the billions all thru the world! I do NOT think they should start seperating people based on there skin color ...dont you think that segerating is NOT thing we need right now or EVER....they already have classes for people who need 'higher' education for all races together...not all people of the same race have the same brain!

I dont believe one race is smarter than anyother i bet if you go around to all the countries rounded up one healthy boy and girl from everywhere and taught them they would learn easily it all has to do with how kids are raised. Kids from the ghetto dont learn as easily because their parents taught them distraction and the parents dont care if they grow up in an enviroment enclusive to learning they will be as smart and those jews.
