Boric Acid and sugar water. = Same thing as that terro product mentioned.
If you can't use boric acid, mix clorox with sugar water but this will not get taken back to the nest.
Just go buy those MaxAtraxx Ant baits.

I use a mixture of dish soap and vinegar in a spray bottle. Works great and also erases the trail for other ants to follow. Spray 1-3 times (depends on strength of mixture) and watch the critters bite the big one. Can also be used on house flies!!

find the source and pour a bottle of straight amonis all over it. Saturate the crevice of your floorboard with it if the are coming from under the house. If you find the main source where they enter, stuff it with some cream of wheat. They will cary it to the core of thier colony and feast on it. As thier body fluids are absorbed by the cream of wheat it will expand and kill em from the inside.

some good old fashioned comet or you can buy some 20 muleteam borax its inexpensive. just sprinkle on them and if out side put it on their ant nest
