I wouldn't set your hopes too high (just so you don't set yourself up for failure for no reason), but GO FOR IT!!!!!! Why wouldn't you? You don't have anything at all to lose, and I am sure it will be a lot of fun. You'll hate yourself later if you pass up this opportunity. Next time you ask a question though... what's the worst that can happen if you go? you don't make it? so what! At least you don't have to live your whole life wondering, "what if I had gone to the studio?"
