I think it's fine, I spray mine on the paper towel then clean it with the damp paper towel instead of spraying it on directly

I use it on my laptop, although when I worked for one of those big box electronics stores, one of the guys that sold the flat-panel TVs told me not to... he said it was not good for the screen. There was some stuff they sold called Monster Screen Cleaner (or something like that) and I was pretty sure that he just wanted me to buy that.

I think its okay to use.. as long as you don't use it excessively (5,000 times a day). I have had my notebook for over a year now and use Windex on the screen every couple of days and have seen no ill effects.

just use water... a damp cloth works fine
(windex is completely safe on glass, so if it is glass then sure, not too sure about flat screens though)

It is fine. I am in STLP in school and when we clean all the computers in school we use windex. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

for CRT's, yes, but LCD's no. (i use windex on both anyway..lol)
