Subtract 32, then multiply by 5, then divide by 9.
For example, 68 Fahrenheit (room temperature):
68 - 32 = 36
36 x 5 = 180
180 / 9 = 20 Centigrade.
Just for fun, try converting minus 40 F into Centigrade...

9/5 c+32 this is for centigrad to farenheit. so for F to C you have 5/9F-32
