who thinks Britney Spears is a slut in her music videos?

I used to be a big fan of Britney in middle school. I was even a fan up until the end of my first year of high school. But then her music videos just went from sexy to downright disgusting and too sexual. I wish she was a better role model for the pre-teens out there. She don't seem to understand what she does in her videos makes some pre-teen girls that love her and want to be just like her want to dress just like her in slutty outfits and outfits that are barely there. Plus, her music used to be good until she even started singing slutty. Why can't she sing the right way? She used to be a good singer, but now it's like she forgot how to sing well. That's part of the reason I got into rock music because some teen pop singers are just getting bad.

It's pop music and sex sells, she has always sold sex right down to the school uniform and sl**ting it around back then. Come on, she used to be good, never. It's all just eye candy. And why does she have to be a role model, if you or parents don't want your teens to watch her, then don't let them. Or, this might just come as a surprise, talk to your kids about what is right and what is wrong, what is real and what is make believe, and why people would do this kind of stuff just to get your money. Britney, Chritina, and Pink, and whoever, are not responsible for raising your children.

Y'know... I couldn't disagree with you more. I do believe that ever since Britney started getting sluttier and trashier, it has done great things for her career! When you were a fan, I had no liking for her or her music. She was just too "teeny" for my tastes. But once she started opening up and showing people what she really wanted to do, that is when my opinion of her changed. I Love what she's doing now... or at least what she was doing, now that all the drama is getting deep with her hubby and the baby... My opinions are starting to move in a more negative direction. But in all fairness, all we "little people" know is what reporters and paparazzi feed us. Sure, pictures don't lie, but I'll leave it up to the "the authorities" to pass judgement. That is what they, after all, pride themselfs on doing. I myself, am by no means some perfect person who can critisize any new parent. As for her tone, trim and slutty look, songs like "Toxic" and her remake of "My Perrogative". Those are all winners with me.
