Aside from the war, if Al Gore had won, what do you think would be different?

2. There would have been about 10-20 more terrorist attacks since 9/11
3. Taxes would be at an all-time high.
4. There would be MORE freedoms taken away from us, not less.
5. The environment would be in exactly the same state as it is now, only Al would be claiming he fixed it or blaming someone else. - Why wasn't any of this stuff fixed during the 8 years of Clinton-Gore?

Instead of $3.15 gasoline we'd have $4.25 gasoline, but a hell of a mass transit system with a bus for everyone.

He would not have cut taxes and so we'd not had any economic growth in the past few years except for lawyers and environmentalist - and thats not enough to turn the economy around so I think we'd have enjoyed a full blown recession after 9/11. But he'd have blamed that on 9/11 not anything he did or didn't do.

we woud have a president that can talk and chew gum at the same time. we would have respect around the world. we would have a nice surplus. we would have lower gas prices and a better economy. we would have a president that respects the rights of the people. we would have a president that doesnt attack the press or bash people who critizise his policy. we would be more united as a country becasue gore is an honest decent man. we would have a president who beleives in global warming and cares about the enviornment and doesnt cater to the big oil coperations.

The Taliban would be controling Afghanistan. Bin Laden would have still taken out the WTC and moving freely about. Saddam would still be controlling Iraq. The economy would have still tanked but I think it would have taken longer to recover because Gore wouldn't have pushed for tax cuts. And Al would still be complaining about global warming.

And I almost forgot. Al would have lost in his bid to be re-elected (to who I have no idea) and the Democrats would still be claiming the Republicans stole the election.

One major difference is that we'd be doing something about cleaning up the environment and Big Oil wouldn't have their hands in everyone's pockets like they do now. Have you noticed? Gas prices have gone about a dime a gallon in the last week - thanks Bush! We'd be searching for alternative fuels if Al Gore were in office - after all, he is the rightful president.

Alaskan wilderness would still be a debated topic not a resource. The drive for alternative fuels would be in high gear. The rich albeit still rich wouldn't have had help from the government. Halliburton would be over 5 billion poorer and on and on.....
