Yes,
I think that it stays cooler, which helps me sleep longer. I also like the sound of the rain.

Yes - I think the sound of the rain is calming. I don't think it is scientific.

Yes, probably because of the sound the rain makes and the fact that it's usually cooler and overcast outside.

yes, i love it when it rains. and i can usually sleep through a storm. before, i couldnt sleep through a rainy night.
it might be a scientific theory. rain is soothing to some people, i guess.

Yes, for sure! I find the sound of tap tap tap really has a hypnotic effect, and I feel so safe and secure under the covers.

I *fall asleep* better if it's raining (the peaceful, rhythmic sound, the chaotic calm in the air....mmm), but I haven't noticed any difference with actually *being asleep* while it's raining. I am, after all, asleep.

i sleep much better when it's raining. i think it's the soft white noise and rhythm created by the water and the breeze. i don't know if anyone has studied it. i do not, however, sleep well if there is thunder. thunder is violent and frightening and it wakes me up.
