We are one of the few countries on this planet that has not had plans of world domination at some point in history.

the USA has not controlled the world before, we have been supported by 3rd world countries. without them, wed be in trouble.
its tough to say who will have supremacy in the decades to follow, when you say take over the world that conveys to me several outcomes:
economical supremacy
military dominance
world alliance
all of these are definitely within any countries grasp, its just a matter of the leadership and hard work that the citizens put forth. think of it as a giant game of chess, all the pieces are in place you just need to know how to use them correctly.

Not no but, hell no! We really have no desire to take control of the world. We are smart enough to know we have enough trouble just taking care of 50 states!
We'd be out of Afghanistan AND Iraq if those places were even quasi stable.
Now we'd (business interests) would like to be able trade with everyone with no restrictions.

No, the U.S. will make a show on the outside and make deals behind the backs of other countries and every American citizen, but countries like Russia and China will never be U.S. controlled.

Any empire which has tried to take over the world in the past has brought about its own down fall, so hopefully the US is well on its way to implosion.

USA will act as big brother to less powerful nations, especially if there is some points of interest in them.

they sure are trying i think it is the masons which are parasites that want to take over the world. the new world order. read about it, many politicians from countries all over the world belong to this org.
