Well I've been out of school for a while but my freshman year in High School (back in 95) I failed Algebra BAD. Needless to say my teacher sucked! He had no teaching skills what so ever and I didn't learn a thing from him. Algebra was the hardest thing in the world to me then. I had to re take algebra in summer school so I wouldn't be behind my sophmore year. Luckily I had a great teacher that was actually interested in her students learning something and passing her class. Not to say that she cut us any slack, cause she didn't. I got an A in summer school and with her, Algebra seemed like a piece of cake.
It all depends on your teacher, and how much you set your mind to learn and study.

college Algebra is the spawn of devil. purely kidding, notwithstanding it does characteristic applications, and Logarithms so have relaxing with those. each thing else is purely outfitted upon what you discovered in algebra so be prepared for pre-cal complications. I particularly particularly particularly recommend that you study college algebra earlier you get into the kind. some parts of it will be particular people hit a brick wall an fail out of the kind.

the concept of adding numbers and letters together is ludicrous!! I am a college graduate and a teacher. Why are we trying to teach student the Pythagorean theorem when you spend two minutes in Yahoo answers and most people can't spell "algebra" let alone DO algebra.
I haven't done too many things in my life that required most of the things I learned in my high school algebra classes.

Algebra is so easy. I took it in sixth grade (yes, i had to take it with all 8th and 9th graders) and I got a 102 in the class, the highest possible with extra credit
hint: if you understand it now, you will do better in more advanced math, so you better learn it now!! Good Luck!!

I found Algebra 2 way too easy.
