Well there you go. Scan the image, and use an image manipulation program to alter the image. Print it out, and fax the copy.
I'm assuming of course, you're doing this for privacy reasons?

That would be forgery.
And, if you're in the USA, tampering with a DL is a felony.
So, while it may be possible - indeed, trivially simple - you're asking us to help you commit a serious crime... which would make us accessories.
No thanks.
