My wife has never screamed once, not even raised her voice once, in the 11 years that I've known her. Maybe it's just you?

I try toi act polite as usual and am friendly , and force a smile, but everyone gets real uncomfortable and will leave my house right away when I am angry, no matter what the occassion or how big the party was, I am a silent angry person and my father used to joke around and say that my stepmom was jealous of me, because she wishes she could intimidate others as I do, when she was angry she would yell, and scream at anyone anywhere and curse and she usually just got laughed at or yelled back at, and she would seethe and pout, and I try so hard to behave and be nice and keep my ugliness to myself and people bolt for the front door, my dad would be laughing so hard ,his eyes teared as the last guest would leave and then his wife would storm down the hall, and ask him how the hell does she do that?

Insecurity issues.
I have a friend where if she doesn't get her way, or feels like she's not heard, she yells at the top of her lungs (she's also the mother of a 7 year old boy). Mind you, she's a giving and caring person, but when it doesn't go her way, she feels like no one sees her. She comes from a home where she was sheltered from everyday life and till this day, she's now comming out of her shell.
It's too bad she didn't come out sooner. Most of her friends are married and have families and they can't spend the time with her like she would want to, whenever she feels she's wounded.
Go figure.

Sometimes they like to hear the authority in their high pitched voice and of course there is the audience not to forget. and their cycle of ovulation , I wrote a poem once about that very subject matter , some of these women need to be in a room with themselves when that comes over them and leave the rest of the ears alone.

Because they're very highly strung for the most part and prone to bizarre behaviour. It's just in their make-up(!!) to behave strangely and without any apparent rational reason. But, at the end of the day, when they are in good form and happy, they're the most beautiful and wonderful creatures under God's sky.....

Some are hormonal, their hormones are way out of whack. But don't say I said that. Some are menopausal, which is almost the same thing. Some are bi-polar, like my daughter. Lots of reasons.

Because we're emotional. And sometimes a good yell helps release tension.
