Yes, they are required to treat anyone who comes in and has an emergency condition. They will try to bill you though, if you do not have insurance, and it is not cheap!
If you go to Urgent Care, a give treatment may cost you $100. If you go to ER, the same treatment could by over $1000.

Yes you can. I think it's illegal for a state hospital to deny medical attention. If you go to the hospital ask for charity care. It helps cover medical expenses. My sister didn't have insurance and Charity care covered her entire bill.

Yes, it will be expensive though. Make sure to pay the bill in full however you can, otherwise the hospital will send the bill to a credit agency and it will wreck your credit!

yes- but I would not go unless I had blood coming out of me --it is really expensive- if you could get by with going to a med. clinic that would be better and cheaper and they pretty much do the same thing in a shorter amount of time

You cannot be denied healthcare because you don't have insurance. They are there to treat the sick and injured, not just the people with insurance.
