it was reported on the news today that the founder member of pink floyd died last friday aged 60.. he was very troubled in his life but must be remembered for the musical genius he was.. R.I.P. you crazy diamond :-)

Yes, I was saddened to hear of Syd's death - even MORE saddened by the fact that he died on Friday and it's taken until today (Tuesday) for the news to get out.

ive never been into Pink Floyd.
But they did a lot for music in general.
