Clearasil contains hard chemicals for your skin as well. My best suggestion would be Tea Tree Oil( it is a natural antibiotic and antiseptic). Throroughly wash your face clean at night, cover the pimples with the tea tree oil ( before bed), wake up and wash your face, try to avoid any harmful products on your face and this should help eliminate and prevent pimples.

I use brandy soaked cottonballs. Brandy is a great antiseptic. For my teenage daughter, I mix the brandy with a little Witch Hazel and it works very well.

Patchouli Essential Oil works too. Just dab a little on.

Also, here's a recipe for Blemish Busting Mask
Mix 1/2 teaspoon tumeric with enough water to form a paste. Apply to blemishes and leave on overnight (From: Bargain Beauty Secrets,2002, by Diane Irons, p. 128).

clean your face as often as possible maybe with a little soap and such things. Also dont eat greasy food and watch the sweat to the face. Having some pimples is unevitable though since its part of the changes going on in your body. Basicly just take care of where the pimples are and youll do good.

Stay out of sun and away from syrup-containing liquids (soda). Also get plenty of sleep and wash your face with soap. If you get big red pimples, dab a little toothpaste on them before you go to sleep. In the morning they should be almost if not all gone, and less red.

100% Tea Tree Oil.

Or if you can't put anything on your face you have to be preventative.

Keep your hair off your face
Keep hair products off your face
Switch your pillow case everyday
Switch to perfume and dye free laundry soap

Keep away from allergens
Avoid makeup with talc or mineral oil, irritants
No intense kissing sessions, the stubble irritates
Try an air purifier/humidifier (with UV microbe killer)
Avoid alcohol toner etc. it can dry/irritate

Don't let pets lick your face, introduces bacteria
Don't touch your face, introduces bacteria
Don't pick, spreads bacteria

Wash with tepid water
Use gentle pressure, as gentle as when you shave your legs
Pat dry, don't scrub
Avoid paper towels on your face, too rough
Try a real "soap" like "Kiss my face" olive oil bar, instead of detergent based cleanser, if they irritate you.

Try to sauna or steam in the shower 2 times a week.
Work up a sweat 2 times a week.

Oatmeal or pure Kaolin Clay can draw out impurities without irritating.

Good Luck.

The only non chemical and herbal remedy that I know of is 100% Tea Tree Oil that is sold in the drugstores. Clearsil helps but in the long run, it is not 100% effective-

Sunshine and lotsa water. In a hurry? Neutrogena makes some really great products - like a cream that acts as a cover up AND an acne fighter.

My favourite is the spot pen by Formuleb see

I couldn't live without it now. If I forget to bring it with me and I have a spot it drives me crazy. It seems expensive but it lasts for ages. It's a really good product and it it smells gorgeous! I've given away a lot as presents and everyone likes them.
