Offically, because Osama "isn't important" anymore. Remember who said "I don't spend much time thinking about him"?

Besides, Osama is still useful to the administration, in order to scare their base.

The Bin Laden family are the second wealthiest family to the Saudi Royal family. The Bush family has been doing business with them for a long time do your history checks. Bush Sr. was with a Bin Laden in a hotel room the same day 9/11 took place. Now why do you think we have not caught him yet. You think his family has no influence on our government, try again.

Because Osama was and possibly still is a CIA asset. In order to make a ton of money off of a war you need an enemy and as long as that enemy has a face you can put up on tv every night to scare people you can continue to make a ton of money off of that war. Its not about Osama, we basically founded the Mudja Hadeen to fight the Russians in Afghnistan. If you dug hard enough you could probably even find a picture of him shaking hands with a current adminstration official, much like the one of Rumsfeld and Saddam all buddy buddy from back in the 70s when we sold them the WMD we were going in to destroy.

Well, with the recent disclosure that the CIA has shutdown its Osama unit, that does seem true.

Apparently, seeking Osama does not serve Cheney's agenda. Osama serves as a very handy distraction to cover up the other follies carried out by this White House.

For a number of reasons.....the primary one is.... it is important to have a figure to feel afraid of. They will never catch him. It helps the administration employ fear for them to take away our civil liberties. Secondly, he had nothing to do with 9/11. European news organizations a few hours after the attacks have interviews that bin laden gave that claimed he had nothing to do with the attack. The personal association that the Bush's have with the Bin Laden clan will make sure no harm comes to him anyway.

What do you mean by the Phrase "Current Administration?" If you mean by the US Military and other resources I would say that he's being looked for. Its just hard to look in every Cave or Ground Hog hole in that area since there are so many...Sooner or later he'll show up...
