No. How is the world going to get better w/o more intelligent people? You can mold a child to be a great person. Btw, by someone, do you mean me? haha.

I believe so and I feel the same way. I'm a young woman who is at a perfect place in her life to conceive a child. But I choose not to. Because of those exact words you said. I feel that it would be selfish of me to bring a child into this world. What kind of future could I expect for my child or children? Odds are not a very happy one.

hi, what's your fashionable determination right here? you don't like the concept 'no one does some thing', yet who, on your view, should be doing what? you pick to implement birth control or abortion on a pair who've the flexibility to make those judgements. meaning they have the right to make undesirable judgements too. And who may you pick to make the alternative to sterilise this female or implement birth control or abortion- the police? Social facilities? Their health care specialist? the authorities? Do i quite ought to spell the consequences of that out to you? i'm inquisitive about someone female's top to settle on - and that typically potential she has the right to settle on no longer to have an abortion in accordance to her circumstances and ideology. lower than modern English regulation the couple do not sound like they're detainable lower than the psychological health act, nor do they look to lack ability lower than the psychological ability act. the toddlers act doesn't come into it: toddlers who are not yet born are not yet coated. in reality, in spite of the indisputable fact that from the information you've offered this couple are being a minimum of irresponsible and at worst purposefully neglectful, sanctioning any kind of state interference may require new law that is be the skinny end of the wedge. are you able to imagine the workplace artwork keen about getting a 'licence to reproduce'? human beings make throw-away comments about this each and each and every of the time, yet are you able to imagine the genuinely pink tape this may contain? so as that leaves you. Do you've the right to intervene? those each and every individual is acquaintances of your friends - you admit you don't understand them o.k.. an in intensity chum or relative ought to savor your suggestion, yet I heavily doubt no matter if an acquaintance may value your opinion interior an similar way. it may look like you attempt to intervene in some thing which isn't your business enterprise business enterprise. it truly is a sad challenge, yet there is no longer some thing you- or absolutely everyone else - can do about it.

You're too pessimistic. You need to realize that children are a living testament to love and optimism and hope. Without children, we are indeed doomed. Give the future some hope - have children [within the sanctity of holy matrimony, naturally :)].

It'll do you and the world good.

This may be hard for you to believe, but we're living in better conditions than ever.
Do you think life was better when life expectency was in the 40s, a broken leg meant you had a limp for life, and over half the children died before their first year?

If you aren't sure you should have a child, you shouldn't. You are doing the rest of us a favor by not conceiving a child you aren't sure you want.

My Mother told me she asked that same question right after WW2...and decided that if good, honest people decide not to have children...and left it up to those who don't really care, then who will lead us? If you bring a child into the world, give them an upbringing that will make them strong for whatever they must face. My Mother did.

It's a personal decision. Everyone has a right to have kids. But ABORTION is not a good decision. Never is. There are people out there that want kids badly and can't concieve so if you come across the decision yourself, please consider adoption for your baby. Every child is a gift, either to you, or someone else.

In your case I'd say that I can't think of a single reason why you should.

After all, I'm sure that you agree with the Zero Population Growth people. Help them out.

I think the question is some thing you can only answer yourself. And if the smart people stop procreating only the idiots will survive.
