i don't know but it's completely stupid... whisky is legal (major cause of violence) ritalin is legal (basically prescription cocaine) valium is legal (does the same thing as pot) but pot is illegal because somebody thought it was bad.
not so long ago whiskey was illegal, cocaine was legal, and valium was unheard of.... hopefully times will change.

It is illegal because the goverment cant control it like they do the things that are legal. think about it.

I'm In Alaska we can legally have up to 4 oz. for personal use. I think they should either legalize it, or de-legalize booze. I'd much rather hang out w a stoner than a drunk *lol*

b/c it helps w/ the American economy. think about how many people would be hurting for money b/c they can't sell their drugs? they would be forced to start selling crack, and then the cycle would start to get that legalized.
