the kia is paid for, should i run it in the ground before i get a new car???????

I would say run it to the ground before you get a new car because of how stupid the gas prices are.

You need to get rid of the crappy KIA and get yourself something better like a Toyota or Honda..You don't need to have a sporty car if you have 2 kids. Anyways, gas prices are ridiculously high, I don't think you want to waste all your money on it, sporty cars require premium gas and lots of it!!

NO! Get rid of the kia before it causes you problems. Get a new car like a volkswagen diesel that are sporty and get like 40 miles to the gallon.

Nice write up in this month's issue of Motor Trend, compaing the Toyota Yaris, Nissan (??? i forgot) and the Honda Fit. They all get good mileage. The Honda Fit was rated number 1. Maybe you want to check that out. I think the car is about $15K or so.
