Coming from an Irishman this hurts, but if England had even a half decent manager then they would have won because man for man they had the best players. Sven is a turkey though, you would find better managers with an U 12 sunday team down the park. Dont tell anyone i said that!!!

Of course! they won so they deserved it. People keep saying they dive, whine and are racists. but most team have players that dive or over-react its just a part of the world cup, the people who say italy whines are ones whining about it, and the fact that they say italians are racist is just a judgemental comment itself, there judging the italians and the italian team based on a rumor about something Materazzi said ( which has been denied ). Italy deserved it! It was an awseome worldcup and a good job for every country!!

They deserved to win the world cup, but they had a really poor world cup game as they were outplayed by France for the majority of the game in terms of possesion and attack. But they managed in the end.

Of course! we were the best team, played the best game, and deserved to win! i think all of the teams in the competition had good and and all of them in their own ways deserved to win for example australia played really well in their last match, england's joe cole scored a fantastic goal etc etc but at the end of the day italy had that little bit of luck so good for them!

I think so. I like the Italian team and think there's a lot of talent on it. However I do think the French were playing better against the Italians. But they won so they deserve to be happy.

Todd Maz says they earned it. He obviously did not see the aussie game where they earned a penalty kick in stoppage time by diving. He also didn't seem to notice how they were being beaten all over the pitch by the french and had to resort to tactics , just to get the game to penalty kicks. How many italians fell to the ground in the OT?
