As Roy Keane once said "You might as well be hung for sheep as a lamb" That was on being sent off for swinging for Shearer and not connecting properly, but being red carded anyway. Legend.

As what was said to Zidane starts to come to light I think maybe he should've done. Although there's only a certain level of violence that can be carried out on the field of play before the police start getting involved. Besides, Zidane reacted to provocation. If he had truely done Materazzi some harm the game would've become a horror show and not to be viewed by children, for example. But Marco Materazzi really is a vile character.

Materazzi began by technique of pulling on Zidane's blouse in the course of the tournament. Then Zidane offered to furnish him his blouse after the game, yet Matterazzi stated he quite have his sister. it truly is what ticked-off Zidane cuz it is like putting forward his sister became a who*re so as it truly is what drove him to go-butt Materazzi. individuals say Materazzi stated some thing undesirable about Zidane's faith.

Everybody seems to be making excuses for Zidane. Materazzi did not say anything to him, What you saw on T.V is what happend, they re-played it like 50 times. No matter what was said thats no reason to go after someone like that. no why would he hit his chin insted? why is everybody so against Materazzi, if you dont know what he even said
