Sex linked diseases are diseases caused by mutations on either of the sex-chromosomes - X and Y. Men have XY and women are XX. See the links below for more details.
There are LOTS of X-linked diseases, some of the commoner ones off the top of my head include:
Haemophilia A
Haemophilia B
Glucose 6 Phosphate Dehydrogenase Deficiency
Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
Becker Muscular Dystrophy
X-linked Severe Combined Immunodeficiency
Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome / Testicular Feminisation
X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy
Spinal and Bulbar Muscular Atrophy
Fabry's Disease
Lesch-Nyhan Syndrome
The list is really quite long though.
Btw in response to sarah's answer above: Down's syndrome is NOT sex linked... it's due to a duplication of chromosome 21.

Sex-linked disorders are those that occur on the X-chromosome. More than 4000 genetic diseases are currently known so I won't list them...but here a few examples:
Muscular Dystrophy -several types
Downs Syndrome
Haemophilia
Colour Blindness

X-linked genetic disorders...
Recessive:Diseases that are inherited through X chromosome Women have XX, Men have XY. So women can have a noemal X and one mutetd gene and can be alright but for men if an X is muteted there is no other X to correct it. So if they inherite it from mother, they have disease like hemophilis...it is tranmitted through women and menifest in men...most famous examples British royal family and Russian Ramonovs.
Dominant: Woman and men effected equally.

They are disorders that are recieved through the "sex chromosomes". For women, those are the XX chromosomes and for men they are the XY chromosomes.
