it depends on whose life you're talking about
I mean for simple people just having a settled routine life is a goal
but if you're a bit smarter you would choose to think of a reason
...do you believe in god?actually I do
and I can't believe if god has created us just to live a while and die
I'm sure he had a reason,that's why he gives us the power to fight .that's why he gives us lots of signs every day...

Creation of life was just by chance,and therefore there`s no meaning or goal made for it(but U can just choose one!).
In fact it is just to produce more humans.(If life had any goal other than that, it woudn`t have continued up to here!)
