well i sort of liked italy so thats fine with me... i also liked PORTUGAL too.. i didnt want them to lose :(

well...after Brazil went out,i wanted Portugal to win it..but even so, Portugal went out too,both beated up by France,so i wanted France to lose this WC...Italy beat her...so i'm fine with that

nope nope. I really think France deserves to win, but unfortunately, Italians took the cup. The game was settle by PK...which is unjustify. I rather thought that the game between Germany and Portugal should be the final. these two teams have expectional and unbelieveable potentials. (I'm a German fan), but I see that there's much to be work on by Portugal, esp. if Ronaldo will stop diving so often... As for Germany, they have a much bigger chance of winning WC 2010 b/c of such a young team and by the time, they'll all be experienced enough to become World Champion of 2010 -- they deserved it.

I would have preferred France to win. I wanted that for Zizou and also because Italy has won it four times now. Besides, Italy played like a bunch of babies. Everytime someone touched them they dived to the ground like they were truly hurt. Even when McBride (USA) was elbowed in the face and needed stitches, he got right back up and went off the field. So to make this short, if that's possibly, I wanted France to win.

no italy played crappy for most of the game and France totally dominated. After half time, the Italians just walked everywhere, barely had the ball, and when they had it they lost it after a few seconds. Everytime a French player barely touched an Italian, they would fall to the ground immediately. The Italians were extremely lucky they got to overtime and then penalty kicks.

Yes, Of course! italia deserved to win,and they did.We were the best team on Earth, played the best game, and deserved to win! dont even think of blaming materazzi for what that insane S.O.B. Zidane did! What a f*cking disgrace! marco didnt say anything, he was just frustrated that the italian defense didnt let him play freely like the brazilians and portugese teams did.WHAT DID HE EXPECT?!?!?! VERY HAPPY THAT ITALY WON! They deserved it, they got through a lot of teams and played together as one unit. Notice how throughout the whole tournament a different player on the Italian team would score not just one person, it shows teamwork and skill.

I'm glad that the Italians won the cup. They weren't my favourite team but I still like them. I thought Argentina was going to take it. I'm just glad that Germany or Portugal didn't win. (Sorry, I know you like Portugal but I couldn't stand them).
