You can use something simple as Windex (window cleaner) or even water to clean your screen. Just dont scratch it with your nails. Use a damp cloth or soft tissue to wipe with.

Clean with a soft cloth. If that doesn't work, then you should purchase some LCD monitor cleaner. LCD monitors and laptop monitors are basically made from the same material. Do not try any household cleaner, as that will ruin the screen.

You can take a paper towel and wet it only a little bit. DONT DIP IT IN WATER
Then squeeze that small ant of water out and slowly wipe your laptop screen. Then take another paper towel and wipe off all the watery mess that is present on the screen. If there isnt a watery mess your in good shape but I would do it anyway.

I use a product called Monster iClean for my powerbook display and the results are amazing. It's a liquid gel formula so it doesn't drip when you spray it on the screen. It comes with a really soft cloth which polishes the screen nicely without any scratches. It always makes my powerbook display look new every time I use it. Highly recommended.

Windex to get rid of the grease, but i think a very soft cloth and water do the trick.
