My name is Shelby and I want a nickname. But I can't think of any good ones. Here are some things about me that might help:
I love country music, I like purple and blue colors, I like cats, the rain, the beach, cheerleading, swimming, shopping, decorating my room, and tons of other things
My favorite foods are pizza, chicken, skittles, ice cream, and pop corn

So please help me in finding a new nickname. The one I like the most will get 10 points. Please, please, PLEASE help me. And please take this seriously. I really need help and don't want to waist 5 points.

BTW- I don't know what category this should be in, so don't say anything about the category

MNL_1221, thanks for taking it serious.

Anyway, I was thinking about Shea. What do you think about that?

I had a nickname when I was little. It was Bones because I was so skinny. But it was just between me and my parents. But I don't want that one anymore since I am older. So, any GOOD suggestions?

More Detals
I want this nickname to be for me as a person, and not my Yahoo! Answer's name.

How about Shel?

Nicknames that aren't based upon your real name don't just come out of nowhere. They're based upon an incident in your life, or some characteristic you have. Rarely do you give yourself such a nickname; it comes from others.

For example, this girl I knew in high school had accidentally slammed a door on her finger and chopped it off (the finger was restored, I believe), so she was called Chopper. My college classmate Brian was called by his initials, B.D., and the guys also called him Ace, though I don't know why. He was the leader of the group. My mother named her kitten Guapa the day she bought her, because the cat was so feisty.

Sometimes a name or title may come to you and you'll use it for yourself, but most likely it'll come from family or friends. Why not ask them?

Here's another suggestion: what can you call yourself here on the Internet? Based upon your interests or your purpose in life, who are you? Country Girl? Lavender Blue? Dilly Dilly? Pizza Face? Those names may not work in real life, but they'll do online! Think of a new moniker for your Yahoo! identity!

Addendum: Congrats on changing your Yahoo! name to ShelbyCakes--not bad, not bad!

Shea has a nice ring to it. It might make people think of Shea Stadium and the Mets and baseball, or of Shea butter, whatever that is. Shea. I like the sound of it!

Of all your hobbies and interests, I thought calling you "skittles" was the best. Here are the reasons:

(1) It sounds cute
(2) People tend to look for a "deeper" meaning in a nickname...so they would be stumped because it would be so obvious (I like skittles).

Or you could combine it and call it "ski-doo" (skittles and getting a new hairdoo).

How about>>> Viv?
It's short for the word>>>"vivid."
Vivid means colorful... like a rainbow.

Dork

Nicknames come up as they come up. You cant self proclaim a nickname to your friends, they give them to you (or family... whatever the case may be)
